Acro
Acro combines dance and movement with precision acrobatic elements. Class will emphasize flexibility, agility, balance, strength & muscle control. Classes are designed for a variety of levels - each participant will work within their capabilities, will be challenged to try new skills. Focus on progressions for aerials, back handsprings, stepouts front walkovers and increasing flexibility in all areas. Some partner work may be included.
Summer Acro 1
Introductory level focused on building foundational skills, strength, and flexibility. Dancers will work on forward/backward rolls, basic inversions, bridges, and beginner balances while developing proper technique and body control.
- Requirements: Ages 7+ no experience required.
- Attire & Footwear: Camisole, leotard, T-shirt or tank, leggings strongly encouraged, bare feet.
- Max Ratio: 12.

Summer Acro 2
Intermediate level for dancers with a strong acro foundation. Dancers will work on cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, limbers, handstands, and progressions for aerials and back handsprings, with an emphasis on control, strength, and clean technique. Requirements: By evaluation or instructor recommendation only.
- Requirements: Passed previous level class or by instructor evaluation. Requires solid bridge (straight arms), handstand (demonstrate core solid strength), cartwheel, and good split flexibility
- Co-ed Attire & Footwear: Camisole, leotard, T-shirt or tank, leggings strongly encouraged, bare feet.
